One of 2010 highlights: Eidsåa

Was thinking about the best kayaking Ive done for 2010, and realized that one of the best trips, Eidsåa, was not on the blog. So here it goes, it was together with Portugal, Corsica, Skogsåa, Sagrenda, Aurdøla and many more one of the highlights during 2010.

Eidsåa is a small creek in the middle of Numedalen. Although only a couple of kilometres, it has more fun than many full day missions. Starts off with some technical fun, moves on to a couple of big drops (including the one below) before the (anti)climax is when you approach Big girl. As appeared to me, it seemed like a 8 metre drop which you have to sideway boof flat just beside the rock wall, for then to naviage out of the narrow pool to finish off with a 4 metre. Nothing for mortals, all kudos for Mariann and those who have followed her down there.
